Port Broughton is a popular seaside town, located on the eastern shores of the Spencer Gulf and at the northern most reaches of the Yorke Peninsula. The inlet of water (Hamilton Lagoons) the town lies next to is quite protected and thus popular for fishing and various water sports. The main street is pleasant and colourful and abuts the wonderful foreshore park which is great for picnic spots and access to the town's jetty.
