A popular as a holiday destination on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Middleton is home to smooth, open beaches and is located on the old railway line between Goolwa and Victor Harbor. The area is also well-known for beach fishing and the town's rocky point creates a good surfing break for Southern Ocean swells.
