Clare is a town located in South Australia's Mid North region. Established in 1842, Clare is an administrative and service centre for the surrounding area. It has a significant shopping precinct, two public and two private schools, three hotels, two motels, a caravan park, race course and showground.
The area relies on the surrounding agriculturual industries and tourism.
