Queensland: Babinda

Babinda is a small town almost halfway between Innisfail and Cairns. The town is noted for its proximity to Queensland's two highest mountains Mount Bartle Frere and Mount Bellenden Ker. The town is home to the World Heritage listed Wooroonooran National Park. The main local industries are sugar cane farming and tourism.
