General Information:

Metropolitan Route 22 is a suburban arterial route linking inner south Melbourne with the eastern suburbs. The route is a mix of divided and undivided roadway that services mostly residential and commercial areas, and goes directly past Caulfield Racecourse.

Multiplexes along the route include:

• ALT-NR1, for 3 km, between Murrumbeena Rd (MR22) & Belgrave Rd, Murrumbeena and Ferntree Gully Rd (MR22), Oakleigh
• MR5, for 400 m, between Dorset Rd (MR5)and Glenfern Rd (MR5) at Ferntree Gully
• MR26, for 4 km, between Burwood Hwy (MR26) and Burwood Hwy (C412) and Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd (C415), Upper Ferntree Gully
